A Family of Four builds a Forever Home in Arcadia

LuxeAug21Front.png

A family of four designed their fairytale family home with Architects Mark Candelaria & Vivian Ayala, Interior Designers DeCesare Design Group and Landscapers Refined Gardens. The couple wanted to keep the home relatively small so it would be cozy and manageable and maximize the outdoor space for their two young boys. They wanted the exterior of their home to fit in with the neighborhood’s modern farmhouse/modern ranch style, but wanted an English cottage flair, inside they wanted a contemporary casual feel. And thank you to the entire Luxe Team for continually featuring our work over the years, beginning with your very first issue featuring one of our Candelaria Design classics on the cover.

Remodel in Phoenix Home & Garden's "Smaller Spaces" Issue

On stands now, Phoenix Home & Garden Magazine’s August issue features “Smaller Spaces: Making Every Square Foot Count”. Our featured PV home is only 2,410 sq. feet and was remodeled and reimagined inside and out by Mark Candelaria and Tim Mathewson into a floor plan that really opened up the cramped, outdated design and mixed timeless elements with organic materials.

Wait until you see the before and after photos on this house! View the article digitally by clicking below or pick up your copy on newsstands today.
