Welcome To 2024 Candelaria Design Tour Italy

Tuesday, September 17th - Tuesday, October 1st, 2024

September 17th - Day 1: Depart Phoenix and Fly to Florence.

September 18th - Day 2: Check into Hotel, Dinner in Front of Duomo & Drinks at Rooftop Bar

September 19th - Day 3: Enjoy the day in Florence, visit museums, gardens, and explore the vibrant city & Devour Tour

September 20th - Day 4: Free Day in Florence and a Farewell Dinner at Villa San Michele

September 21st - Day 5: Morning in Florence then we will take a transport to the airport to get our rental cars. From Florence we will drive to Antinori Winery for a Winery Tour and Lunch. Then, we greeted by Elizabeth Wholey and her team with a Welcome Dinner in our homes for the week in Umbria.

September 22nd- Day 6: We start the day off with a savory brunch at the Villa di Piazzano. Then, an afternoon visit to the hillside village of Cortona. The real fun begins Sunday evening with our cooking class with Elizabeth Wholey!

September 23rd - Day 7: Morning visit of the Umbrian Village of Assisi followed by the afternoon in Spello with lunch and wine tasting at Enoteca Properzio. 

September 24th - Day 8: Wine Tour Day by Elizabeth Wholey– we will tour wineries in either Tuscany or Umbria for the day including a light lunch. Dinner at the Ristorante Girasoli.

September 25th - Day 9: Free Morning to relax – drive to Umbertide for the Farmer’s Market from 10-1pm. Tour Lacolé and Porte del Passato for antiques and reclaimed building materials. Evening cooking class from Elizabeth Wholey at the Farmhouses.

September 26th - Day 10: Free morning and an afternoon/evening trip to the Tuscan town of Siena and San Gimigiano

September 27th - Day 11: Free Day in Umbria. Evening farewell dinner at Il Falconiere.

September 28th - Day 12: Check out of the Farmhouse and head to the Almafi Coast!

September 29th - Day 13: Free day in Capri, Sorrento

September 30th - Day 14: Tour of Pompeii and Farewell Dinner

October 1st - Day 15: Drive to Naples and Fly Back Home
