Top Valley Chefs Grill & Serve Steaks to the Homeless

Top Valley Chefs, including Archi-chef Mark Candelaria arrived early on a January morning for the annual birthday celebration for Muhammad Ali at St. Vincent DePaul @svdpaz. Their mission is to grill steaks, donated from from @domsteak, and serve nearly 1250 homeless people during this annual celebration. This was Mark & Tiffany’s second year participating in this incredibly heartwarming event that feeds our hungry neighbors.

”Not only did I get to cook and serve with an all star cast of real chefs including Chris Bianco @pizzeriabianco Christopher Gross, @chef144wrigley Marc Lupino, and Vincent Guerithault @vincentsoncamelback but I had the honor of singing The National Anthem to the crowd followed by Happy Birthday to the late Muhammad Ali and have a cameo on Fox 10! What an honor and what a day!!!” - Mark Candelaria.

Secret Life of an Architect

Paradise Valley City Lifestyle magazine’s March issue features a 4-page article showcasing renowned architect Mark Candelaria’s other talent - cooking. It highlights all of the client dinners he has hosted in his home, his office’s showroom kitchen, and of course in the client’s completed kitchens he’s designed. Many of his clients choose special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries for Mark’s special meal as it really is memorable. In fact, it’s gotten to the point where dinners hosted by Mark now raise thousands of dollars at fundraising events!! Mark says, “It’s a great way to build and create great relationships.” He also loves it because unlike architecture where it takes years to complete a home, “I can cook a dinner in two to three hours and get the same feeling of satisfaction.”
